How much does motorcycle shipping cost

Shipping costs vary depending on your location and courier rates.

To see the exact shipping price, simply add the motorcycle to your cart and enter your delivery address at checkout. The system will automatically calculate the shipping cost before payment.

Delivery estimates for your country will also be shown during checkout.

How long does delivery take

Delivery times vary depending on the destination country and courier service.

As a general guide, delivery usually takes around 7 days once the motorcycle has been dispatched, although this may vary depending on your location. When you enter your delivery address during checkout, the system will provide an estimated delivery timeframe for your country.

Will my Thumpstar arrive fully assembled

No. For shipping safety, motorcycles are delivered partially assembled in a crate.

Before the motorcycle can be used, it must be fully assembled and inspected by a qualified motorcycle mechanic and undergo a proper Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI).

Thumpstar provides assembly videos on our YouTube channel for reference only. These videos are intended to help qualified mechanics understand the assembly process, but they do not replace professional assembly requirements.

If the motorcycle is assembled by the customer and not by a qualified mechanic, the warranty will be void and Thumpstar accepts no liability for any issues arising from incorrect assembly.

Is my Thumpstar insured during delivery

Shipping insurance depends on the courier and the destination country.

During checkout, the system will indicate whether insurance is included in the shipping cost or available as an optional extra. Any applicable excess or additional insurance fees will also be shown before payment.

What should I do when my Thumpstar arrives

When your Thumpstar arrives, it must be taken to a qualified motorcycle mechanic for assembly and a proper Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) before being ridden.

The motorcycle will arrive partially assembled in a crate and must be professionally assembled, checked, and set up before use. You must keep the mechanic’s receipt as proof of professional assembly for warranty purposes.

What servicing is required

Servicing should always be carried out by a qualified motorcycle mechanic. The mechanic who assembled the motorcycle will usually be able to advise you on the correct servicing requirements for your country and riding conditions.

As a general guideline, after the first hour of gentle riding the motorcycle should receive its first service. This should include an engine oil change and a full inspection of the motorcycle, including bolt checks, chain adjustment, spoke tension, and a general safety check of the entire bike.

After this initial service, the motorcycle should receive a full inspection and service approximately every 10 hours of riding. This service should include checking bolts, spokes, chain condition and adjustment, fuel lines, controls, and general safety items.

For any warranty claim, customers may be required to provide service receipts showing that servicing and inspections have been carried out by a qualified mechanic.

Can I track my order

Yes. Once your motorcycle has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number so you can monitor the delivery progress.

Before shipping, our team may also contact you to confirm your order and provide important information related to the motorcycle model you have purchased.

Do I need to be present to receive the delivery

Yes, we recommend that someone is present to receive the delivery and sign for the shipment.

In some cases the courier may be able to leave the motorcycle without someone present, however this can be risky depending on the delivery location. For this reason we strongly recommend being available to receive the delivery where possible.

If being present is difficult, you may choose to ship the motorcycle to a business address where someone is available to receive it, or select a depot pickup option where you can collect the motorcycle from the courier depot at a time that suits you.

In some areas, dealer pickup may also be available. If you collect the motorcycle from a dealer, they can also perform the PDI and handle future servicing for you.

Can I schedule a specific delivery date

At this time we cannot guarantee a specific delivery date.

However, if there is a particular date you would prefer the motorcycle to arrive after, you can let us know and we will do our best to arrange the shipment timing so it arrives after that date where possible.

Alternatively, you may choose depot pickup or dealer pickup so you can collect the motorcycle at a time that suits you.
